Stay in the Kathmandu Volunteer program fees

Mission in Church strives to keep volunteer program fees  low while providing you with a professional service that fully prepares you for volunteering in Nepal.
The prices are found below and there is a program booking fee of $30USD. This fee covers administrative costs when processing your application and all pre-departure support.

There is cost per day for taking up the different volunteering opportunities (see details below)

Costs for taking up volunteering opportunities

We encourage you to take up at least one of the volunteer opportunities that we offer whilst you stay with us as it will greatly enhance your stay.

What you are paying for?
The Volunteer program fees is used to provide both a professional and welcoming volunteering program as well as contributing to the financial support for Mission in Church ministries.

Services included in program fee

•  Pickup from the airport, transport to your placement.
•  Accommodation.
•  Food during placement with a host family / hostel- Nepali standard 2 to 3 meals a day.
•  Orientation.
•  Provisions for the children at our orphanage.
•  Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
•  Comprehensive Pre- Departure Information.
•  24 hrs Assistance and support from MIC Staff.
•  Free wireless internet at our office and Orphanage Home in Kathmandu

What is not included?
Apart from the fees, other costs that are to be met by the volunteers are:

•    Airfare / travel to Nepal
•    Visa and Visa extension fees (Tourist Visa fees in USD: 15 days $25, 30 days $40, 90 days $100. Per additional day: $2)
•   Airport taxes (arrival and departure tax)
•   Local Transportation
•   Any personal expenses
•   Any other Donations
