About Us Mission in church
About Us with Mission in Church was established on February 14th 2005. It began when God commissioned our founder, Debilal (David) Prasain, to take care of two children. From here, through prayer and faithfully meeting with new Christians, God increased their numbers to 35 within a year. Since then, we have been sharing God with the people in our local communities and have seen new Christians come to church. We started a children’s ministry and also began an orphanage for children with bleak home environments and for children who do not have opportunities to go to school.
We are a family of believers, comprised of Pastor David and his family, and have grown to include many children who are fatherless, people who are searching for the truth of Christ’s love, and followers of Christ who want to serve as He called us to serve.
God has called about us specifically to mission in Nepal and where He leads, we will follow.
Mission in Church is a branch of Himalayan Foundation Nepal (HFN) and is an officially registered non-profit organization (Govt. Regd. No. 935) associated with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal (SWC Regd. No. 24693).
The vision of Mission in Church is to feed Christ’s sheep, encourage the faith of established Christians and empower them to evangelize to the lost people of Nepal.
